We are committed to doing business using fresh products and eco-friendly practices. What are the costs associated with opening a NUYO? The estimated initial investment is $179,300-$440,000. Investment will vary based on many key factors including, but not limited to: chosen retail space, equipment required for said space, and construction required. This initial cost also includes a non-negotiable, non-refundable $30,000 franchise fee. Do you offer financing? NUYO does not offer any financing for any costs or fees listed above. What royalties are involved with owning a NUYO franchise? A 5% monthly royalty fee based on gross sales and a 2% monthly marketing fee based on gross sales. Is there an application fee? No. What is the time frame for an application to be pre-approved? We will contact you within 1 business day to let you know we received your application. After that, the application process will take an estimated 2-4 weeks. How long will it take to open a store once we have been approved and signed the Franchise Agreement? Upon finalizing your location, you should expect an estimated 3-6 weeks to receive building permits and 2-4 months to finish construction. Does NUYO assist in finding site locations? Once you have signed the Franchise Agreement we can provide input and suggestions on potential spaces. If we have a preferred leasing broker in your area we can set up an appointment with them to review your options. Will you provide any turn-key locations completely built out and ready to open? Yes we do offer turn-key locations. The price of these stores will vary by size, location, equipment, etc. Can I purchase an existing NUYO location? At this time we are selling a few of our existing locations as franchises. The time frame for purchasing an existing location could be as little as 8 weeks including the application process. If you are interested in this opportunity, please let us know and we can discuss the details. What is the recommended location size? We recommend 1150 – 1700 square feet. Does NUYO provide training services? Our program provides education and training at one of our existing sites as well as initial training at your location once you are open for business. We also offer ongoing training and support. We are very proud of the systems we have created and we have an extensive operation manual that outlines all of the day-to-day activities involved in operating a NUYO location. Do you supply and distribute the products for NUYO? At this time, we do not do any of our own distribution. However, you will be required to purchase from our approved vendors and carry selected products including our proprietary frozen yogurt mix. Do you franchise out of state and internationally? Yes, we do plan on franchising outside of California. If we have not done so already, we will need to obtain a permit from the state in which you are interested.
